- I enjoy naming my pets unusual names (Kitty the dog, Mousie the cat, Snowball who is a black Lab/ Shepherd mix)
- I started doing crafts when I was young. By 8 I knew how to knit, crochet and sew well enough to make wardrobes for my dolls.
- I enjoy cooking and do a good job of it.
- I don’t like cleaning up the mess after I cook so usually I clean as I go.
- I’m married to the most loving and indulgent man on the face of the earth.
- I am the oldest child of 4.
- I am a female.
- I live in Southern California.
- I wear glasses.
- I drive too fast (but I’m getting better as I get older)
- I’m chronically early (DH and DS are chronically late.)
- I’m passionate about knowledge. Knowledge is power and always works to your advantage.
- I am very patient.
- I take most things I hear with a grain of salt.
- I am a loyal friend.
- I procrastinate but then work well under stress and get the job done on time.
- I’m a good test taker.
- Public speaking doesn’t both me at all, in fact I rather enjoy it.
- I love to drive in canyons (especially on the way to the beach.)
- I hate to drive in traffic.
- I can’t sing. Well I can sing but you don’t want to hear it.
- So I sing in the car when I’m alone and turn the radio way up when it is a song that I like.
- I love Aimee Mann. Her songs always sound so upbeat as she’s singing about love gone bad and dysfunctional relationships.
- I don’t smoke.
- I don’t drink.
- Give me a Diet Coke and I’m great. (lots of ice please!!)
- I started scrapbooking in 1995.
- I bought the domain name and founded scrapbooking.com in 1996.
- I know how to drive a stick shift.
- I don’t like chocolate that much but I love to let Dove chocolates dissolve in my mouth.
- I am outspoken but not abrasive.
- I’m one of those people who feels like it is my mission to save the world.
- If I can save the children first and then go from there, I’ll be happy!
- I love antiques and interesting old things that are fun to have around my house not necessarily worth lots of money.
- I have a collection of old purses and compacts (you know like make-up compacts.)
- I have brown hair, hazel eyes, freckles and a fair complexion.
- I tan pretty well as long as I wear SPF 45 sun block and do it gradually.
- As a kid I got a lot of sunburns.
- I love tubing down the Salt River.
- Will Rogers State Beach is my favorite beach.
- I live just off of Happy Trails Highway.
- I have more pictures of my child that I will be able to scrapbook in the next 4 lifetimes.
- I know how to build a website from scratch.
- I know how to cook from scratch too.
- I own a cooking website Bulk cookingÂ
- It is outdated but I’ll get around to updating it someday when I’m not blogging or working on scrapbooking projects.
- I’m a designer for the scrapbook industry. I design products and layouts/ projects.
- I do marketing consulting for scrapbooking manufacturers.
- I started using word of mouth advertising in 1996 when I founded scrapbooking.com.
- Scrapbooking.com was the first scrapbooking community on the internet. The first place to publish how to articles and maintain message boards for scrapbookers.
- I love to read.
- I’m the Vice President of my son’s Middle School PTO.
- I love fresh flowers.
- I’m good at coordinating projects.
- I’m good at fundraising.
- I’m a total Disneyland Geek. The family loves going to the park, exploring and riding the “E” ticket rides.
- I’m old enough to remember “E” ticket rides!
- I love roller coasters. If someone offered to take me on a roller coaster tour of the world I’d get packing right away.
- I’m a typical “SHE” (Sidetracked Home Executive) and I always have way too many projects half completed around my home.
- I’ve got just enough connectivity in this house to drive me batty. Computers, TVs, MP3 players, Palm pdas, phones and answering machines….. you know all those device that make your life easier.
- Did I mention that although I love gadgets, I hate to read the manuals?
- My son is 12. I’m getting ready to head into those dreaded teen years with him.
- You pronounce my name jenn-ah. Just like the “I” wasn’t there at all. When people ask I tell them my mom was difficult. However, she just wanted people to pronounce it the way she wanted.
- My sisters also have unusual names but not my brother. You know, men have to go out into the world and work!
- I’m related to John Howland. He’s the one who fell off the Mayflower. So IÂ guess I come by this klutzy thing naturally. We have a really varied family history that is very interesting.
- Genealogy fascinates me.
- I have not done a family history scrapbook yet, but I intend to.
- Pink is my favorite color.
- If I could pick a time period to live in, I’d probably go to Elizabethan England. I’m a no nonsense girl but for some reason the pomp and circumstance and crinolines all fascinate me!
- I know my way around a toolbox and I can usually pull off minor repairs on my own.
- I know how to tune up a car, or at least I did back before cars had computer modules and all the added stuff. I’ve did full tune ups and a few minor repairs- but that was on a 1972 Camaro. I could probablys still find my way around a 72 Camaro pretty well but I don’t even try with my current car (2005.) Give me an old Camaro or any Chevy with a 350 engine though and I’m all set!!
- I dabble in the garden.
- My ideal vacation is anyplace tropical with a beach and lots of sun.
- I co-authored a book “The Simple Art of Scrapbooking Tips, Techniques, and 30 Special Album Ideas For Creating Memories That Last a Lifetime” which was published in 1998 by Dell.
- I love flowers. If I could I would have fresh flowers in every room of my home every day.
- I love to read.
- I’m a technique junkie. I love to learn new techniques for scrapbooking, paper crafts, mixed media, sewing and other crafts.
